The Nikon D which took the D's place is basically the same as its predecessor and costs more. This is my second D which I purchased for my daughter as a Xmas gift. In my opinion the Nikon D is a fine camera which most user's will like and will last a lifetime. Digital cameras have many advantages over the old 35mm SLR'S but I still use my old film camera, no one knows how long digital pictures will hold up over the long run.

This is my best investment. This camera takes the best pic's you can imagine. It is worth every dollar I spent on it. I highly recommend buying this camera. My favorite feature is being able to shoot great shots in the dark and the closeness I can get receive. I have been using various cameras in the past 50 years, I have owned 6 Nikon camera's.

This is the best Nikon camera that I have purchased, it is very easy to operate and the quality of the photo's are outstanding. I would recommend this camera to anyone that enjoys photography and likes good and sharp photo's.
