The keyboard does not have a standby or hibernate button; I normally enter standby by going through the Win Xp Start - Shutdown - standby option on screen. Wake up is by pushing the power button.

I have tried unsuccessfully to find an update for this driver. Would anyone know whether SP2 alters the original driver - if so can I safely "roll back driver" and will this fix work?

Install everything ONE item at a time and test hibernation after each one. This even includes drivers and utilities. It'll take a while, but if you want hibernation to work, you have to figure out what's screwing it up. This precise event happened to me. Thanks to Reidyn. Adobe Type Manager for NT also causes this very same problem - once installed, the keyboard driver prevents hibernation. Frustrated the hell out of me too Delete it and boom, you're hibernating Does this mean I have hardware that won't let me do this or is it something else?
